NATIONAL VOLLEYBALL ASSOCIATION LOGOS

The National Volleyball Association (NVA) existed from 1997 through 1998. There were thirteen total franchises at its peak, ten were disbanded and three left to the Professional Volleyball League (PVL) mid-season. The logo used by the NVA is below:

PRO VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE LOGOS

The Pro Volleyball League (PVL) existed from 1992 through 1997. By 1997 the PVL was a six-person professional women's indoor volleyball league comprised of five teams. On March 22, 1997, PVL President Don Petrilli said, "We have always been proud of the professional quality of our matches. It is in the interest of women's professional volleyball in general and the PVL specifically to assure our players and fans have the best possible conditions in which to enjoy a pro match. Therefore, we are suspending all further 1997 events in order to prepare properly for the 1998 season." The league did not return in 1998 and is now defunct. The logo used by the PVL is below:

U.S. PRO VOLLEYBALL LOGOS

The U.S. Pro Volleyball (USPV) started in 2002 in Chicago, Illinois and the charter teams were in Chicago, Illinois; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Rochester, Minnesota & St. Louis, Missouri. The logo used by the USPV is below:
