DID YOU KNOW

Phoenix Roadrunners

...that the Phoenix Roadrunners' (an International Hockey League team) logo seen above, which was used only between 1975 and 1977, has the outline from the state of Arizona as a background?

MESSAGE ABOUT CREDITS

When the founder of this site began collecting logos, which was long before they were placed online at LogoServer, he did not keep accurate records of where each item was found and who deserved the credit for the find.

As the years passed he did attempt to recover some of those sources and give credit to them for their help in preservering logos. What follows below is a list of those credits he has remembered and any new credits we have come across since the redesign in May 2006.

It is our goal to preserve logoes & preserve history. While doing this we will continue down this same path and provice either a link or a detailed description of the source we use for each and every logo.

No page of credits could be possible without starting with the creator of this site. He started it, he helped it evolve, and he turned it over to Baseball Almanac trusting us to keep it alive and take it to a new level. His page is here:

In respect to his dream: Within a month we changed the entire design to the one you see now. We will spend the middle part of 2006 transitioning LogoServer's thousand-plus pages to this new design. We will then work our way through hundreds & hundreds of backed-up email requests, upgrades and corrections. We will preserve logos. We will preserve history.
